A tradition... in a new form

This concert may on the surface have seemed traditional - in more than one sense.

It was the opening concert of the annual Melos Ethos festival, and even at the same time a part of the renowned ISCM World New Music Days taking place in Slovakia and Austria.

But the Melos Ethos ensemble had decided to go new ways. Light designing is usually not a part of a Melos Ethos concert, but this time it was.

Illustrating the music with illuminations and playing from new stages in the old hall were just some of the tools that Melos Ethos had chosen to make this concert more than merely a performance of music pieces.
