Concert
Music at the court house
The court room is a place for controversy. And for performance!
And since contemporary music is controversial too – why not perform it in the court?
So on April the 4th Contemporary Music was summoned to court as Music for Galway presented this concert in Court Room No. 1 at the Galway Courthouse.
The concert was a cooperation between the two Irish ensembles of NewAud, the ConTempo Quartet and the Crash Ensemble. For the first time ever these enembles gave a concert together to celebrate their participation in the NewAud project. The repertoire included NewAud pieces from Finland, Norway, Britain and Latvia and from Ireland too.
