A concert can be like a journey to a foreign country – and into a foreign atmosphere. This cold January the German ensemble Recherché chose to travel deep into the Scandinavian night.

The Nordic Composer are full of surprises, Recherche wrote offering a three hour long concert with atmospheric moods from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The work titles tell of “rain” and “night” but also about quite non-Scandinavian associations – like ”Royaumont”.

The concert, entitled ”Die Lange Nacht”, was visited by NewAud’s project manager Thomas Demidoff who gave a speech about the project during the intermission.
